APOL Birthday Hat
Top off your avatar for birthdays, streams, and special occasions with a fully customizable cake hat.
The APOL Birthday Hat is a VRChat avatar accessory made for birthdays, parties, streams, and generally making someone look a bit more ridiculous on their special day.
Edit Text In Unity
Change the writing on the front of the cake directly inside Unity.
Type your text and the asset handles the rest.
Use names, ages, messages, jokes, or whatever else fits the occasion.
Easy Installation
The Birthday Hat uses VRCFury.
You only need to:
- Add the Birthday Hat prefab to your avatar.
- Position and scale it to fit.
- Enter your text.
VRCFury handles the rest!

What's Included
Unity Package
The main download containing the ready to use Birthday Hat and Unity text editor.
Substance Painter File (10.0.0+)
Included as a separate optional download for people who want more control over the textures.
You do not need Substance Painter to edit the text or use the asset.
Buying For A Friend
Want to buy the Birthday Hat for someone else?
Use Gumroad gifting so they receive their own copy!
Sharing And Distribution
Your purchase is for your own use.
You can use the Birthday Hat on any avatars that you personally own.
You cannot give the downloaded asset files to another person.
If a friend wants the Birthday Hat, send them the store page or use Gumroad gifting.
Do not upload or share the included files through Discord, shared drives, repositories, asset collections, or other file sharing services.
Avatar Commissions
You may use the Birthday Hat while working on an avatar for somebody else if that person also owns the asset.
They can purchase their own copy or you can gift it to them through Gumroad.
One purchase does not provide copies for multiple people.
Terms Of Use
You may
- Use the asset on your own VRChat avatars
- Modify the asset for your own use
- Change the text, textures, materials, scale, and placement
- Use the asset in screenshots, videos, streams, and other content
- Use the asset in monetised content featuring your avatar
- Use the included Substance Painter file to create your own modifications
You may not
- Redistribute the asset files
- Give the asset files to other people
- Resell the asset
- Sell modified versions of the asset by themselves
- Include the asset files inside downloadable avatar packages for people who do not own it
- Upload the files somewhere other people can access them
- Claim the asset or included files as your own work
These rules also apply to modified versions of the asset.
