Potion Holder - Liquid Stays Level When You Tilt, 3 Flasks on Your Hip | VRChat

Produktbeschreibung

A leather holster with 3 flasks that hooks onto your belt with two clips.

The liquid surface in each flask always stays level, even when your body tilts. Every time you walk, crouch, sit or lean forward, the flasks tilt with your body and only the liquid surface stays flat. The surface waves gently, bubbles rise from the bottom, and the edge where it meets the glass creeps up brightly.

Press "Drink" in the menu: the middle flask moves to your right hand, the cork pops out, and the liquid gulps down until it is empty. Back on your hip, it slowly fills up again.

Features

  • The liquid stays level when you tilt: they are round-bottom flasks, so the amount of liquid looks the same at any angle (the shader cuts the liquid at the world's horizontal plane)
  • A gently waving surface and a bright edge (meniscus) that creeps up the glass. Bubbles rise and particles sparkle in the liquid
  • Glows with sound (AudioLink): in supported worlds, the 3 flasks glow from inside with the bass, low-mid and high-mid separately, and the bubbles speed up (automatic, no menu needed)
  • "Drink": the middle flask moves to your right hand, empties, returns to your hip and slowly fills up (about 7.5 seconds, once per press)
  • 8 color sets: Basic (red, blue, green) / Health / Mana / Poison & Cure / Night / Sunset / Spring / Gold. You can also set your own 3 colors on the material
  • Attach To: right front hip (default) / left front hip / back of hip
  • 2 colors: brass with round-bottom flasks and dark brown leather (gear crowns) / silver with slim-neck flasks and black-navy leather (fluted dome caps)
  • Original design down to the details: stitching, finished leather edges and rivets, the bottle straps (twisted leather folded back onto the leather plate and riveted), hinged brass neck rings, burnt-paper labels ("Brew I, II, III" on the English-menu version; burnt edges and a curled corner), and tiny air bubbles in the glass
  • No lilToon, other glass shaders or OSC needed (it runs on this item's own shaders)
  • Modular Avatar ready: put it under your avatar and fit it to your hips

How it works

  • The shader cuts the liquid at a "world height". From the center and radius of the round part of the flask, it calculates the surface height that matches the amount of liquid every frame, so the surface stays level and the amount stays the same however the flask tilts.
  • "Drink" moves the middle flask between two anchors, one on the hip and one in the right hand (only the weights of a VRC Parent Constraint change; no extra bones or animated parts).
  • The waves, bubbles and sparkles follow the time, so they use no synced bits.

Menu (English menu prefab)

  • Potion Holder > Show: holder on/off
  • Potion Holder > Color Set: Basic / Health / Mana / Poison & Cure / Night / Sunset / Spring / Gold
  • Potion Holder > Drink: once per press: the middle flask moves to your right hand, empties, returns and fills up (about 7.5 seconds)
  • Potion Holder > Attach To: Right Front Hip / Left Front Hip / Back of Hip

What's included

  • Prefabs x 2 colors (holster, left and right flasks, middle flask)
  • FBX, textures (color swatches, labels), 2 custom shaders (opaque parts, flasks and liquid), animations
  • English-menu prefabs (_EN) next to the Japanese-menu prefabs, with English labels. Use one or the other on an avatar, not both.
  • Instruction manual and Terms of Use in English and Japanese

Specs

  • Added to your avatar (counted in Unity): brass: 6,184 triangles, 3 meshes, 4 material slots, 0 PhysBones / silver: 7,216 triangles, 3 meshes, 4 material slots, 0 PhysBones
  • Synced parameters: 18 bits (Show, Color Set, Drink, Attach To)
  • All counts follow VRChat's rules (hidden parts are counted too) and show how much one prefab adds to your avatar.
  • The VRChat performance rank depends on the total with your avatar, so this item alone does not decide it.
  • No Particle Systems, PhysBones, AudioSources or Contacts
  • No extra skinned mesh

Requirements

  • Unity 2022.3.22f1 (an avatar project made with VRChat Creator Companion)
  • VRChat SDK (Avatars) 3.10 or later
  • Modular Avatar 1.18 or later
  • lilToon is not needed

Please note

  • PC only. Not supported on Quest / Android.
  • The liquid surface is always level and waves gently over time. It does not slosh from momentum when you move suddenly (no inertia).
  • At steep tilts where the liquid reaches the neck, the amount in the neck looks a little different from a real flask.
  • No hand pose for holding the flask during "Drink" is included. Adjust the hand position with "HandAnchor" in the prefab.
  • In worlds that do not support AudioLink, there is no glowing with sound (the soft inner glow, waves and bubbles always move).
  • If a viewer's Safety settings hide shaders, the flasks are hidden and the holster is shown in a single color.
  • The flasks and the liquid moving with the menu (Show, Color Set, Drink, Attach To): they move only inside VRChat (including Build & Test) or with Gesture Manager. If they look still in the Unity Editor, nothing is broken.

Terms of use

  • You may upload it to VRChat and similar services on your own avatars, edit it, and use it in streams, videos and photos (commercial or not).
  • You may not redistribute, resell or share the data (edited or not), or use it to train AI.
  • Full text: TermsOfUse_EN.txt in the download (Japanese original: TermsOfUse_JA.txt).
