Rideable Snow Mega Crawler - 15 m Giant Snow Plow [Modular Avatar]

Sit in and drive a giant snowplow, about 15 m long, with your avatar.

Made by an author who actually clears snow with a wheel loader in a heavy-snow area of Hokkaido, Japan.

The "Mega Crawler" runs on four crawler tracks and comes with a big red V-plow, a dump bed, a V12 twin-turbo engine, and a cab with a leather massage chair.

Drive

🚜 Ride: one menu toggle and the 15 m Mega Crawler appears with you in the driver's seat

🙋 Emotes while riding: Wave, Clap and other emotes work while riding or standing on the deck (upper body only)

⚙️ Automatic gear changes: N -> 1 -> ... -> 5. Every shift gives a "clunk", black smoke from the mufflers, and the revs drop and climb again. Stop for N, back up for R

⏱️ Speedometer and tachometer needles follow the gears; a gear display shows N / 1-5 / R

🎡 Steering wheel: turns as you turn with the mouse, your left hand on the red knob

🧭 Compass: always points to the world's north

🛞 Tracks turn with your speed; moving sideways turns all four tracks (crab walk)

🔊 V12 engine sound, backup beeper and backup lamps

🔧 Swing up the engine-room panels to show the V12 twin-turbo

Hydraulic cylinders and hoses move along with them

Easy setup (Modular Avatar)

1. Import the unitypackage
2. Drag MegaCrawler_MA onto your avatar
3. Upload as usual
4. In VRChat, just press "乗る (Ride)". The seat height is set automatically from your avatar's size

(you can fine-tune it with the "座る・立つ高さ (Seat/stand height)" dial)

The Expression Menu is named "乗れるメガクローラー" (Rideable Mega Crawler).

• 11 Bools + 2 Floats (27 bits synced)
• ⚠️ Your performance rank becomes "Very Poor" because of the real lights and polygon count
• VRChat for PC (Quest / Android not supported)
• The machine is about 15 m long and may go through walls or ceilings in small worlds

Requirements

• Unity 2022.3.22f1 / VRChat SDK - Avatars 3.7 or later (tested with 3.10.5)
• Modular Avatar 1.18 or later (tested with 1.18.7)
• A humanoid avatar
• A VRChat account that can upload avatars

The humanoid in the product images is a VRChat SDK sample avatar (not included).
