Art Painter

Art Painter is a painting prefab for VRChat worlds. It has a movable canvas, a handheld control panel and one painting tool with eight modes.

Pick up the brush to start painting. The control panel follows your other wrist, or you can dock it beside the canvas. You can paint with either hand.

Features:

• Eight tool modes: Brush, Pastel, Ink, Taper Ink, Airbrush, Smudge, Eraser and Eyedropper
• Adjustable paint settings: colour, brush size, opacity and emission
• Five canvas formats: square, landscape, wide landscape, portrait and tall portrait
• White or black paper, selected before painting
• Undo and Redo for recent edits (x8)
• Movable canvas with controls to reset its position
• Shared artwork: other players can see your painting
• For PC and Quest:

Each workstation is used by one artist at a time. Add separate workstations to let several people paint at once.

To install, import the Unity package, drag the Art Painter prefab into your world and position it. The components are already connected. Installation instructions and a user guide are included.

Requirements and limitations

You need Unity and a VRChat Worlds project. Paintings are not permanently saved, so take a screenshot of anything you want to keep.
