Transform your VRChat experience into a live horror game! The Haunt Hound is an advanced, fully synced interactive scare system. Spawn the ethereal Haunt Hound to stalk, chase, and terrify other players, or become the entity yourself with the playable Avatar version.
Note: The Quest version is included for FREE. Due to VRChat limitations, the Quest version does not produce sound and does not support the Space FX material.

Advanced Target System
Take full control of the hunt. The system includes a full suite of targeting tools:
- Activate Target: Spawns a visual marker on the ground.
- Drop Target: Freezes the entity's focus in a specific world location.
- Hide Target: Turns off the marker's visibility to stalk players without them knowing.
- Self / Others: Choose exactly who the entity should follow and terrify.
Hound Behaviors & Scares
Trigger a massive variety of terrifying actions directly from your Radial Menu:
- Standard Chase: The ghost actively pursues the target.
- Phantom Rush: An aggressive, high-speed dive attack.
- Circling Wraith: The entity sweeps and circles the area.
- The Watcher: The Haunt Hound observes menacingly from a distance.
- Mind Whispers: Ethereal, psychological torment.
- Glitching: The entity breaks apart into unnatural static.
- Invisible: The ghost fades into the void.
- JumpScare: A brutal, close-up attack.
Banishment Circle (Exorcism)
Spawn a ritual circle of candles on the ground. If the Haunt Hound is lured or chased into the circle, it is instantly banished and destroyed.
Playable Avatar Features (Bundle / Avatar Tier Only)
If you use the included Haunt Hound Avatar, you get access to exclusive features on top of the system:
- Screen-Space Jumpscare: A massive, full-screen scare effect.
- Invisibility Toggle: Smoothly fade out of existence.
- Scary Audio & Idles: Selectable creepy sounds and animations.
- Space FX (PC Only): A unique cosmic material toggle.
- Source Files: Includes the original .blend, .fbx, and Substance Painter (.spp) files.

Import Poiyomi Toon Shader, VRCFury, and the Haunt Hound package.
System Installation (Adding to your own avatar):
- Drag the Haunt Hound System prefab directly onto your Avatar's Root (the very top of your hierarchy).
- That's it! VRCFury handles all the complex logic, custom menus, and animations when you upload!
Avatar Installation (Playable character):
- Drag the Haunt Hound Avatar prefab directly into your empty scene Hierarchy.
- Open the VRChat SDK control panel and upload!
🟢YOU CAN:
- Use this asset for Personal Use on your own private avatars.
- Sell the SYSTEM on completed avatars (ONLY if you purchase the Commercial License AND provide a clear link back to this store page in your avatar's description!).
- Modify and edit the textures, sounds, and logic for your projects.
- Use the asset in streams or video content.
🔴YOU CANNOT:
- Use this asset commercially if you only bought the Personal License.
- Redistribute, share, or resell any of the files on their own (as-is).
- Make public avatars featuring this asset.
- Allow your customers to rip this asset from your commercial avatar (they must buy their own Personal License to use it elsewhere).
- Hybrid License Rule: Even with the Hybrid ($35) tier, the Commercial rights apply STRICTLY to the System mechanics. The Haunt Hound Avatar mesh and textures remain under a Personal License and cannot be kitbashed or resold.'
