What you get

• All 5 gimmicks, each in its own folder
• PC and Quest & iOS prefabs for each (the CD Collection is PC only, with dummy Quest & iOS prefabs so your parameters stay in sync on cross-platform avatars)
• 2 versions each: With Gestures (poses your hand, or hands, while you hold it) and No Gestures (keeps your own hand animations). The poses were made on Wylie, so other avatars may need a small adjustment
• In-game instructions in every gimmick's menu
• A video install guide for every gimmick, in the download and on YouTube: USB Killer, Baton, CD Collection, Angle Grinder, Scanner
• A PSD file to swap out the CD covers, and the Aseprite source file for all the Scanner screens

Requirements

• Unity 2022.3.22f1
• VRChat Avatars SDK 3.10.5 or newer
• VRCFury 1.1418.0 or newer (free)
• lilToon 2.3.4 or newer (PC prefabs only)
• Works with Write Defaults On or Off. If using the With Gestures prefabs, you must use Write Defaults On.

Setup

1. Install VRCFury
2. Import the gimmicks you want
3. Follow each gimmick's install video, in its folder and on YouTube (linked above)

Performance

All 5 together use 81 of 256 synced parameter bits and 7,936 triangles on PC. Each gimmick's full stats are on its own page, linked above.

Heads up! The Quest & iOS versions don't have audio!

By purchasing the Tools of the Trade set, you agree to the following (the latest version always applies):

• Use them personally in VRChat
• Upload avatars with them as public avatars (pedestals are fine)
• Edit and modify them, and use your edits in VRChat
• Install a gimmick for someone else as a commission, if you both own that gimmick
• Post screenshots, videos, streams and socials, monetized content included

🚫 You cannot:

• Redistribute, resell or share the files (original or edited)
• Include them in avatars or assets you sell
• Use them in a way that causes trouble for me or anyone else
• Use them in NFTs, blockchain projects or AI training datasets
• Claim them as your own work
• Rip out parts to reuse in other products

Monetized videos and streams are fine. Company, event, advertising or merch use: ask me first.
