Glasses Auto Fit — Fit glasses to your avatar's face in one click [VRChat / Unity] (Free trial available)

Produktbeschreibung

Glasses Auto Fit is a Unity editor extension that fits glasses to your avatar's face in one click (the Free trial is preview only; keeping the result and fine-tuning are in the Full version). It measures eye height, the bridge of the nose and face width, then sets the position, size and direction of the glasses. The glasses follow the head (Modular Avatar BoneProxy if present, otherwise they become a child of the Head bone). Original meshes and textures are not modified. Undo with Ctrl+Z.

No glasses or avatar models are included (tool only).

Free vs Full

  • Free trial: try the one-click fit on your own avatar and see the result. Preview only: it goes back after 30 seconds, or when you save the scene, enter Play mode, press Ctrl+Z or close the window.
  • Full: keeps the result, plus sliders for up/down, front/back, size and extra width over the face. For glasses with a shape key that lengthens the temples, it also sets the temple length so the tips reach just behind the ears.

Try the Free trial with your own glasses and avatar first to see how it fits. Importing the Full version over the Free version replaces it.

Carefully tested before release

Made by Kotokoto Lab, an independent creator. Tested on 4 free avatars (including a chibi avatar) with 4 free glasses (regular glasses, round glasses, sunglasses and glasses with shape keys): all 16 combinations fit the face when checked from the front, side and top.

Depending on the shape of the glasses, they may be slightly off; you can fix that with the sliders in the Full version.

Requirements

Unity 2022.3 (tested on 2022.3.22f1), Humanoid avatar. Eye bones (LeftEye / RightEye) are recommended; without them, eye height is estimated. Works without Modular Avatar.

How to install

1. Download the .unitypackage (Free or Full) and drag it into the Project window, then click Import.

2. Open Tools > Glasses Auto Fit. The window has an "English" checkbox at the top.
